Unlike mass-produced items that are manufactured in large quantities and sold as-is, made-to-order items are produced individually or in small batches. Some of our items are made-to-order, so before purchase always make sure to verify the production process of an item by reading the product description. Different made-to-order items will have different timelines.
Please allow 3 - 17 weeks after order placement for the item to be produced. For further understanding, please refer to our shipping policy and the Made-To-Order timeline.
1. Pre-Shrunk Fabrics:
- Handling: Your clothes have been pre-shrunk to maintain their size after washing. However, to ensure they remain in the best condition, follow the care instructions carefully.
2. Washing Instructions:
- Water Temperature: Always wash in cold water to prevent shrinking and color fading.
- Detergent: Use a mild, non-bleach detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can break down the fibers over time.
- Cycle: Choose a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine.
3. Drying Instructions:
- Air Drying: Lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade colors.
- Tumble Drying: If you must use a dryer, select a low heat or air-dry setting. High heat can cause shrinkage and damage fabric.
4. Ironing:
- Temperature: Use a low to medium heat setting on your iron. If the fabric is delicate or prone to scorching, place a thin cloth between the iron and your garment.
- Steam: Steaming is a great alternative to ironing, especially for delicate fabrics.
5. Storing Your Clothes:
- Folding: Fold items neatly to avoid wrinkles. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Hanging: Use padded or wide hangers to maintain the shape of your garments.
6. Spot Cleaning:
- Immediate Action: Treat stains immediately by blotting (not rubbing) with a damp cloth.
- Stain Removers: Test any stain remover on a hidden area first to ensure it doesn’t damage the fabric.
7. Special Considerations:
- Avoid Overloading: Don’t overload your washing machine. This can cause excess friction and lead to pilling.
- Turn Inside Out: Before washing, turn clothes inside out to protect the outer surface from abrasion.
8. Eco-Friendly Practices:
- Wash Less: Only wash your clothes when necessary. Over-washing can wear out the fabric faster.
- Cold Wash: Cold washing is not only gentle on fabrics but also saves energy.
